June 21^st, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. – Introduction to Tantric Practices at Midnite Oasis, Brick NJ.
Sexuality is a powerful tool for expanding consciousness and one of the most direct routes available for experiencing the divine. In this 6 hour workshop, we will present an introduction to the history, theory and practice of Left Hand (Vama Marga) Tantra, and you will learn special techniques for:
- increasing awareness
- enhancing intimacy
- building energy
- and expanding consciousness
The workshop will be divided into three segments:
1. What is Tantra?, The History of Tantra, and The Role of Pleasure in Tantric practice
2. The Chakras and Sexuality, which will include information about the traditional Tantric chakra system that is little known in the West.
3. Introduction to the Kama Marmas or the Tantric Erogenous Zones. An ancient Indian system for building sexual energy and intensifying arousal.
This will be a clothes-on workshop. Some exercises involve touch, but we strive to ensure the safety of all participants and people are always welcome to opt out and observe.
Join us for an honest discussion in which we will dispel some of the popular myths surrounding this ancient tradition. You will learn that elements of Tantric philosophy and practice can be easily applied to our modern lives in ways that do more than simply improve our sex lives.

 August 28^th - 31^st – Tantric Erogenous Zones, Tantric Sex Magic, and Aghora Tantra at Harvest Home Gathering, Marlborough CT.
Tantric Erogenous Zones - In Tantric sexual practice, it is crucial to extend the excitement phase. The Tantric and Ayurvedic traditions have long recognized specific zones of the body that are particularly responsive to stimulation, and some schools of Tantra (particularly in South India) have developed a systematic approach to the stimulation of these zones in order to produce high states of arousal. This system was introduced to the West by Dr. Jonn Mumford in 1976 and is still little known. In this workshop, we will introduce you to to these zones and the basic principles for working with them systematically.
